Property Flirt

28 Mar 2017

Shall we celebrate spring and all this glorious spring weather with a goosey gander around a gorgeous family home (aka poking our nose into someone else’s property). Yes, I think so too. We’re sashaying over to Sevenoaks for this month’s Property Flirt, and Pigeons Green is a gorgeous reason to do just that. And, yes, that is it’s real name.

Usual rules apply – look at the pics and description, guess the price, put your answer in the comments box below and the winner gets a romantic break with Tom Hiddleston in the Bahamas.

Shall we celebrate the end of Dry January with a nose around our most stonkingly, spectacular Property Flirt yet? Of course we should *claps hands vigorously*! And boy does Stede Court rise to the occasion. Firstly, it’s the most expensive Property Flirt I’ve written about so far, giving a little Hey Big Spender sequin and shimmy to proceedings. Secondly, it’s rich history includes connnections with William the Conqueror and Winston Churchill.

Let me just position myself elegantly on my lawn and tilt my head titillatingly beyond my swimming pool and towards my neighbours’ land because, yes, you’re seeing that right. That’s a castle next door and Prince Charming might just be in, strutting around in his stockings and britches while I smile about my good fortune at owning Garden Cottage. This stunning Grade II listed period house adjoining Chiddingstone Castle, is just half a mile from the pretty Tudor village of Chiddingstone and five from Edenbridge.
