Handmade and Homegrown Festival, Hever Castle, Edenbridge, Fri 2 Sep – Sun 4 Sep

Hever Castle is putting on an event celebrating everything handmade and homegrown from talented local artisans. Sample or purchase foodie delights including delicious cheeses, chocolates, and preserves from great local producers. Stalls will also sell handmade soaps, jewellery, ceramics and beautiful homeware items – perfect for gifting or for you and your home. The annual Patchwork and Quilting Exhibition will also be on show celebrating the 25th anniversary of The Quilters Guild who will be in attendance holding sewing demonstrations for kiddies and adults.

Into The Woods is an annual festival that prides itself on finding the best new musical acts and will be celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. The festival is nestled in a secret woodland location that will be revealed near to the time of the event. As well as the brilliant up and coming musical talent on offer, other entertainment will include short film showings, workshops and beautiful art installations. A silent disco (have you tried one yet?) and giant bonfire will also keep you partying through the night. Whether you want to relax in the Kent countryside or immerse yourself in the diverse entertainment on offer this sounds like a thoroughly unique experience not to be missed.

Head to Faversham this weekend and celebrate Kent’s hop picking industry with a fabulous weekend of live entertainment, attractions and of course a spot of beer drinking. The days festivities will commence with a morning parade on both Saturday and Sunday leading the way into a fun packed weekend of events – including a fun fair, children’s entertainment, Hoppers Market, brewery tour and live music hosted by the town’s pubs.

The day’s proceedings will also include camel rides, Mongolian wrestling, puppet shows, archery and live music.
