Win EVERY day – for the 12 Days of Christmas!

christmas-1100723_1280

On the first day of Christmas, my true love gave to me…

Okay, so I’m not your true love but I do quite like you so I’m giving away a prize every single day for the 12 days of Christmas (well, technically the 12 days of Christmas start on 25 Dec, but this is Muddy and we’re too darn excited to wait)! So starting Wednesday 7 Dec, I’ll be posting a different prize each day here on the blog – and sharing on Facebook and Twitter. You are very welcome to enter for every single prize if you so wish…

To enter the competition, all you have to do is:

  • LIKE Muddy Stilettos Kent on Facebook, you MUST then leave a few words in the comment box so I can log your name and SHARE please
  • Or follow me and RT on Twitter
  • Or do both (you’ll double your chances).

Simple as that. I’ll draw a name out of my virtual hat at 10pm each evening and announce the winner for each day.

So let’s see what’s inside my Santa’s sack…

Partridge In A Pear Tree, Luxury Christmas Hamper, from British Fine Foods – worth £35

partridge-in-a-pear-tree

Those lovely people at British Fine Foods have donated this luxury hamper from their Twelve Days of Christmas collection. The lucky winner will enjoy Colston Bassett Stilton, Vintage Lancashire Bomb Cheese (matured for 36 months) Paxton & Whitfield Original Crackers, Christmas Chutney from Hawkshead Relish and Boxing Day Chutney from Hawkshead Relish – all wrapped up in a cute boutique box.

Christmas Wreath from Astilbe & Sorrel (Winner Best Florist in Kent in Muddy Awards) – worth £45

Have the best dressed door on your street, with this gorgeous display by Hawkhurst-based florist Astilbe & Sorrel who specialises in creating natural, full, luxury style bouquets in a carefully picked palette of colour, texture and scent. It’s made up of hydrangea, blue thistle, burgundy hypericum and eucalyptus. (N.B. the winner needs to be able to collect from Hawkhurst!)

Anno Cranberry Gin, from Anno Distillers in Marden – worth £35.49

collage_fotor

Stick another log on the fire, snuggle into the sofa and savour this limited edition Christmas Spiced Cranberry Gin from Anno Distillers. This ought to warm one lucky winner from head to toe. Add a splash of festive fizz or mix a seasonal Martini… I’m not jealous at all *sniff*.

Family ticket, Ice Skating in the Park, Calverley Grounds, Tunbridge Wells – worth £42

ice-ring-2015

Now this is something a bit fun and festive. You can snap up tickets for 4 (2 adults, 2 children) to slip-slide/skate/dazzle (delete as appropriate) on the popular pop up ice rink in Calverley Park. Read my review of it here.

Family of 4 tickets, Sleeping Beauty Panto, The Stag Theatre, Sevenoaks – worth £72

Going to the panto? Oh yes you are! Eastenders’ Ricky Norwood stars alongside panto fairies from 90’s pop sister act Cleopatra, (Comin’ Atcha! remember them? Aw, come on. It can’t be just me – stretch your mind back!) The Stag Theatre, Sevenoaks always puts on a good panto (I’ve been several times) – particularly good on the pop songs and dance routines and gets people grooving in the aisles (what, just me again?)

Large Distressed Antique White Lantern, Vintage Vibe – worth £75

fullsizerender

Add some serious hygge to your home with this gorgeous lantern as kindly donated by the gorgeous interiors showroom, Vintage Vibe (have you checked out this place in Paddock Wood? Such great finds and prices – you will not leave empty-handed!) It stands at around 66cm high 36cm wide, so quite a statement piece and perfect for creating some Chrimbo cosiness.

Pamper Morning, The Granary Spa, Great Chart, Ashford – worth £70

collage_fotorspa

Visit The Granary Spa (Winner of Best Spa in Kent in Muddy Awards) and enjoy two 25 min treatments, then slip into your robe and head upstairs to the Relaxation Lounge where you’ll find a massage chair and cake waiting for you. I’ve tried out this spa and it’s a very special rustic retreat – read my review about it here.

Glitter Knit Lottie & Moll top, from Odyl boutique in Cranbrook – worth £45

collage_fotortop

If you’ve never been to Odyl boutique in chocolate-box cute Cranbrook, then you’re missing a trick. It’s a great little find and Gemma the owner is always on hand to give honest and great suggestions on what will work well on you (I never leave without a purchase – shucks she’s good). Gemma has donated this one-size-fits-all (up to size 14) Glitter Knit top from the Lottie & Moll collection (pictured above) to add a touch of sparkle to your party wardrobe. I want it, I want it! (Natch, she’s done it again)…

Post bag, Elvis & Kresse, worth £150

box_bag_re-work

Kent-based company Elvis & Kresse make bags and belts from upcycled fireman’s hoses and are so cool they’ve established quite a cult following. Bag yourself the most original, eco-friendly accessory around with this handy-sized Post Bag, including a hot orange lining made from reclaimed parachute silk.

Personal shopping experience with WellStyled – worth £130

well-styled

Up for grabs is a two hour personal shopping experience in Tunbridge Wells with Siobhan Young, founder of Wellstyled. The session will include an express personal style consultation and advice on making the latest trends work for you and how to shop more wisely. I know Siobhan well and she’s mastered the magic combination of making you feel good about yourself while also offering straight-talking fashion savvy.

Constellation Star Sign Pendant from Reppin & Jones – worth £84

14976775_1222976574422786_6946866269977797455_o

I think this one might just be on my Christmas Wish List (you hear that, Mr Muddy?) – kindly donated by Reppin & Jones in Whitstable, (Winner of Best Jewellery Store in Kent), the Constellation Pendant comes in Rose Gold, Gold or Silver and corresponds with your star sign. Keep it for yourself or give it as a gift (*snort* yeah, like you’re going to give this beauty away) – gorgeous design and a great length for wearing, even over a winter poncho.

Dinner and Stay at The Barrow House, Egerton – worth £200

the-barrow-house-dining-room-2

Now things are really getting exciting.

Win dinner for two and an overnight stay at The Barrow House, a gorgeous new pub in Egerton from the team behind the popular The Milk House in Sissinghurst. We know you’ll love the top seasonal menu and great selection of local ales, craft beers and wines by the glass in one of Kent’s most picturesque villages. There’s lots nearby – from Leeds Castle to the Stour Valley Walk – and after a busy day of eating, drinking and enjoying yourselves, you can relax in one of the pub’s three beautiful bedrooms, all with en suite bathrooms – and a hearty breakfast is included in the morning. I am soooo jealous, you lucky people! (T&Cs: The prize must be redeemed within 6 months of the winner being notified and is not valid on bank holiday weekends, Valentine’s Day, Easter, Christmas or New Year. Booking is subject to availability).

The comp is all running on social media – Facebook or Twitter. To take part I simply asked people to Share on FB and Like my page. I also asked people to comment on the prize they are interested in too so that I have a notification of everyone’s name. Hope that makes sense!
