The classic tale of Phileas Fogg’s voyage around the world is being brought to life on stage at the The Oast Theatre. The production will tell the story of Phileas’s race against the clock as he attempts to travel around the world in just 80 days after wagering his life’s fortune on the quest. This sounds like a great production if you want to head to the theatre but would like to try and avoid Pantos. Grab your tickets before they sell out!

The Sloe Gin World Championships, The George Inn, Frant, Wed 14 Dec

Artisan sloe gin makers from across the world will gather at a pub near Tunbridge Wells to vie for the coveted ‘Sloe Ginster World Champion’ title for 2016 (no, Mr Muddy, your garden shed concoction just won’t cut it). This is the 8th year for this annual event which pits hand-crafted drink makers against one another to win the ultimate title. Now that’s what I call getting in the spirit! (*Snigger*)

Christmas Window Wonderland, St John’s, Tunbridge Wells

Local marketing company ‘Small Fry Marketing’ have a passion for supporting local businesses and are collaborating with St John’s business owners during the festive season to draw attention to the dynamic shopping destination. ‘St John the Christmas Bear’ will be hiding in secret locations around the window displays of St Johns and families will have the chance to follow the quiz trail to find the missing bears. An awards ceremony and fun family activity day will take place at Glazy Daisy on Wednesday 21st December to celebrate the end of the free activity and raise money for the charity, Tree of Hope.
