If you’re interested in sharpening up your work wardrobe WellStyled is launching a unique training course to help women kill the cardigan and learn how to dress to impress. Style Coach and Personal Stylist, Siobhan Young, will be running a three-hour Women in Business Workshop to help you hone your professional style and “dress like you mean business”. During the course Siobhan will examine every business’s unique brand values in order to find a complimentary signature style for every individual. The course will also cover the tools and techniques of networking, meetings and pitches. You go girl!

Let the action commence as the Knights of Royal England return to Hever Castle to battle it out in jousting tournaments. Knights compete to become the season champion – Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn will join spectators as the knights display an array of stunts, fights and falls. Festival season is upon us! Pack up your sunnies, hats (and wellies) then head over to Yalding for an exciting festival experience that you and the mini muddies will enjoy. Or leave leave the mudlets at home and go for the evening line-up, which this year includes Reef, Skinny Lister and Coco & The Butterfields. If you do go en famille the Kid’s Field will keep them amused. Activities include climbing walls, tag laser, workshops, entertainers, face painters, a petting zoo, obstacle courses and hula-hooping lessons (phew! that’s only naming a few). There’s also a special area for teenagers to hangout with friends and be away from parents (most importantly), there’s even an added mocktail bar! This festival is perfect for youngsters and parents alike, as the organisers strongly believe that if the kids are fully entertained in a fun, safe environment the parents can relax. Sorted.

Summer Maize Maze, Penshurst Place, Sat 16 Jul
Children must find clues, solve riddles and decipher puzzles as they work out how to find their way to the end of the maze in a field of maize. (See what they did there?) The summer maize maze will be running throughout the summer until 4th Sep so there’s plenty of time to visit during the summer hols.

Outdoor cinema group Luna Cinema are coming to Tonbridge Castle this summer with 3 brilliant film options running throughout the weekend. Friday’s showing will be Robin Hood: Prince Of Thieves, Saturday’s will be Grease and Sunday’s is Back To The Future. I visited a Luna Cinema showing last summer and although it was brilliant, it rained (of course) so bring a camp chair and umbrella to avoid getting soggy. There are alternative options to standard seating available including: prime position seating, blankets and backrest so check out the options online if you feel the need for comfort.
