Whether you want to walk, run (or even hop, skip and jump) the Silver Fun Run organised by the Hospices of Hope is an amazing opportunity to raise money for children and adults suffering from terminal and life-limiting illnesses. Add a flash of silver to your outfit to show you’re support for the cause (there’s sure to be a bit of glitz in everyone’s wardrobe). There’s no pressure during this event as all ages are welcome and participants can race at whatever speed and distance they feel comfortable.

Be prepared for a side splittingly funny performance from a multi award winning TV veteran who’s fantastic wit has meant he has become a well known personality in the stand up and presenting world. In his new show Right Man, Wrong Age Kane will tackle the issue of how people deal with the often unnerving reality of aging and how “no one is ever the ‘right’ age”. His fantastic comedy style has meant he has not only won the prestigious Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2010 but has also been featured in an array of presenting roles, panel show appearances and televised stand up performances. My mini muddies *love* the Jim Carrey film version so I will definitely take them to this production – watch out for my review on opening night! Painter and decorator by day, Mr Popper spends his time dreaming of Antarctic adventures. He is astounded when one day a packing crate arrives on his doorstep, out of which waddles a penguin! Squawk! (That’s penguin for ‘Exciting’!)
