Wonder Boys: The Oasis Film Trailer

Remember the Nineties? Go on, send your mind wayyy back and pop on your parka to the time when Oasis were heralded as the new Beatles, Britpop was rampant, and Union Jacks were flying around with a refreshing and rare lack of national irony.

On October 2 a documentary film, Supersonic, about the rise and fall of Oasis, hits the cinemas, delivered by the same guys who who brought the brilliant Senna and Amy documentaries to the world.

Even for someone who wasn’t a huge Oasis fan at the time, it looks like an amazing film, with all those backstage and early private moments when the youthful band were high on daft optimism and ambition, and with interviews with Liam, Noel and even Mrs Gallagher, and cameos by a youthful Kate Moss and The Prodigy’s Keith Flint.

See what you think here with the trailer. I don’t suppose it’s popping up any time soon as the Odeon but check your nearest indie cinema for dates.
