Colonnade Florist

Muddy says: Sharon has floristry running through her veins and really knows how to provide stunning bouquets for any occasion which is why this Tunbridge Wells florist is always so popular…

When owner, Sharon, was thirteen, her step dad delivered a bouquet of flowers for her mum and a bunch of freesias for her. She fell in love there and then with both the smell of the freesias, and the idea of becoming a florist. Now, 37 years later, she has a collection of 11 medals in professional floristry from The Chelsea flower show; ranging from Silver, Silver gilt, to the much-coveted Gold medal. She also has an Intermediate and then Society of Floristry National Diploma – this is the highest qualification that anyone can get in floristry and enables her to put the letters NDSF after her name!

Sharon’s shop, Colonnade Florist is in the heart of Royal Tunbridge Wells, which is a buzzing Spa town within the garden of Eden, Kent. It opened sixteen years ago with just two members of staff and she now have a team of wonderful ‘Colonnaders’ designing, arranging and delivering their flowers.

They pride themselves in having the imagination and skill set to design anything the customer would like; from a simple birthday bouquet to intricate and bespoke funeral pieces, to stunning floral chandeliers. No challenge is ever too big or too small for them – they love putting their creativity to the test!

This florist also offers free, no obligation wedding, funeral and event consultations as well as always being available either by phone, email or in person to answer any questions. Whatever the occasion or event Colonnade Florist is always happy to listen, help and offer inspiration to their clients so they not only get the best arrangements, but also the best customer care.
