The Swan at Chapel Down
The Swan at Chapel Down is an 80 cover restaurant with a private dining Chef’s Table and a terrace with wonderful views across the vineyards and surrounding countryside.
Guests enjoy the finest locally and regionally-sourced produce from surrounding farms, producers and the day boats from Rye, in an elegant and relaxed environment. Head Chef Tom Genty creates beautiful dishes such as poussin, sweetcorn, pickled king oyster, girolles and sourdough crumb; peach burrata and hazelnut pesto; and salted caramel, chocolate delice, brandy snap and caramelised white chocolate. The bar and drinks menu features many of the award-winning Chapel Down Wines, including Curious Brew and Curious IPA, on draught.
Available for exclusive hire and wedding celebrations, Swan Chapel Down is licensed for ceremonies to be held in the beautiful herb garden. A glass of English sparkling wine and photos taken against the backdrop of the vines, makes for the most delightful way to start married life.
