Love gin? Try this!

Longtooth gin a modern twist on an iconic 60s brand, looks almost too gorgeous to drink, tastes flippin' fabulous, the Master Distiller is a woman..

There’s a cool new botanical gin in town, that’s ticking every box on our top tipple list (yes, we keep one on our person at all times). Longtooth gin a modern twist on an iconic 60s brand, looks almost too gorgeous to drink (I said almost), tastes flippin’ fabulous, the Master Distiller, is a woman AND 10% of all profits go to the WWF to save the tigers. I know, right?! Could we love it any more?

Bengal Gin was THE gin to drink back in the 60’s, being one of the most distinctive and super cool brands of the decade. Longtooth is a faithful recreation of this once revered spirit. Smooth, strong and impeccably bred, it’s made with only the finest ingredients, to a recipe created by one of the most respected Master Distillers in the world.

Fast-forward half a century and this 1960’s icon became the blueprint for a new London Dry gin, Longtooth, developed by the creator of some of the world’s most successful and exclusive gin flavours and brought to you by a team of Tunbridge Wells gin connoisseurs.

Even better, the chosen Master Distiller, is a woman widely acknowledged to be one of the most successful innovators in the drinks world. Over six months she created the recipe: juniper then citrus with spice builds of cassia, cinnamon & chicory, and a finish of mustard seeds (gluten free and vegan too!)

Not surprisingly some of the very best foodie destinations in the area have got their paws on the new gin already – and here’s where you can raise a glass locally: The Ivy, The Beacon, The Tunbridge Wells Hotel, The Bar and Grill, The Gin Bar – Chapel Place, Fuggles and Framptons all in Tunbridge Wells. And The George & Dragon, Speldhurst and The Hare, Langton Green (just in case you needed another excuse to visit some of these fab local eateries).

A grrrrrreat martini gin, you’ll want to make a Maneater Martini (obvs). Buy your bottle online or catch them at the Tunbridge Wells Gin & Jazz Festival, in the Pantiles 22 & 23 June and also at the Wealden Midsummer Fair 6 – 8 June.

Or if you fancy having someone else do the mixing for you, head to The Ivy Royal Tunbridge Wells where they will be making signature, limited edition cocktails using Longtooth gin, to celebrate the Gin & Jazz Festival, every Thursday throughout the summer. Purrrrfect.

Head to the bar at The Ivy Royal Tunbridge Wells – for limited edition cocktails using Longtooth gin this summer
