Body & Health By Design was founded nearly ten years ago in the Middle East by leading fitness trainer and life coach, Karen Porter. Now relocated to Kent, Karen has expanded her business to the UK and is working with her clients to enhance their lives in a number of areas including life coaching, group classes, corporate training, personal training and wellness programmes.
Karen has 20 years’ experience as a popular fitness trainer and teacher but it’s her work as a highly successful life coach (she’s a qualified NLP practitioner) that has really grabbed our attention. She’s able to combine all these skills to help people, ranging from individuals, groups or corporate clients to achieve their personal life and work goals. After all, if you have strength of mind, you are then in a MUCH better position to tackle your training goals.
Karen’s life coaching classes works through a series of one-to-one sessions which enables you to find your own unique answers to things that you want to change…to see new perspectives and prepare you to take action to have the life that you want, whether improving the quality of personal relationships or regaining lost confidence.
There are plenty of other innovative programmes that you can also take part in. Her Lifeworks Sugar Free workshop is a four-week online programme which focuses on how to reduce sugar (oh so lovely but oh so naughty) in your life and increase movement. Plus her popular Lifeworks Retreat which is a one day of self discovery, learning how to take control of your actions and takes place at the very charming Bloomsbury’s of Biddenden – a beautiful glamping, spa and yummy cafe/restaurant spot, all rolled into one – as well as her new Mindfulness and Stretch Class. Plus, she also runs Pilates, Bootcamp and BoxFit classes. I feel positively healthy and active just writing about it!
Karen believes that for a person to achieve their goals, dreams and aspirations, three vital aspects must be considered in harmony: mind, body and health. And the proof is in the pudding (sugar-free of course) as Karen is currently a finalist in the Kent Women in Business Awards for the Women’s Champion Award so she certainly knows how to achieve her goals.
