Carroty Wood

Muddy says: A wonderful activity centre, enclosed in 58 acres of mature woodland, with plenty of natural habitat and wildlife for groups and families to explore.

If you are running out of new ways to entertain the kids (or the inner kid in you), look no further than Rock UK’s Carroty Wood activity centre which is situated right in the heart of Kent, enclosed in 58 acres of mature woodland.

You are going to find something for everyone to enjoy – whether it’s Open Canoeing, BMXing, Raft Building, Pedal Karting or just hanging out it in its purpose-built maze and having a splash in its indoor heated pool. There is a total of 27 instructed adventure activity sessions on offer so you know that your children will be in very safe hands – and happy to boot!

What is more, help is at hand during the school holidays as Carroty Woods offers a range of sessions during the school holidays with week-long programmes as well as individual two-hour long sessions for children aged 8-16 years.   Children are able to enjoy the adventure and experience of abseiling down the climbing tower, hitting the bullseye on the archery range, taking to the water in open canoes, building a den in the forest or taking the leap of faith on the high ropes.

You should also be considering Carroty Wood for your next birthday bash – young or old. Simply choose your activity and if you wish, add on private room hire, food and party bags for the full one-stop-shop.

We are particularly fond of their family activity sessions. They take place on selected dates throughout the year (lasting up to two hours) and provide the perfect opportunity for you all to pitch in and learn something new together, be it high ropes, archery, abseiling or climbing.

With plenty of accommodation options on-site, including camping, why would you ever want to leave?!
