I don't go to Canterbury or Folkestone without popping into one of the Lilford Galleries. There's always cool, modern, playful art on display and I'll inevitably convince myself that I just *need* to have it. I'm seriously going to save up for a purchase sometime soon...
Established in 2000 and now one of the leading galleries in the South East, Lilford Gallery exhibit work by established artists as well as finding new and exciting talent. They exhibit an eclectic range of works by both emerging artists from the Kent Area and internationally known artists. With new works arriving on a daily basis the gallery is always changing.
There are two Lilford Galleries in Kent – both in Canterbury, 3 Palace Street and 76 Castle Street.
The gallery in Castle Street not only has three floors of gallery space, but there’s also a well-established framing studio too. Oh, and a really good Silversmith on site with an open studio and workshop.
