There's pizza and then there's pizza... This take-away venue in Whitstable - perfect for eating beach-side - makes seriously tasty, award-winning craft pizza using local ingredients and organic dough. Go, go, go!
One of the UK’s best craft pizza making eateries has relocated to Kent! Inspired by their love of Italian cooking and local Kent produce, husband and wife team, Jon and Vicki Crwys-Williams, has created a brand new pizza eatery in the colourful seaside town of Whitstable in Kent.
Nomad Pizza makes authentic thin crust pizza using fresh and local Kentish ingredients from cheeses, hams and local butcher cooked meats. Order to go – why not enjoy your pizza on the beach?
Jon and Vicki began their pizza-making adventure in Cornwall, and quickly gained a reputation beyond the loca area for their freshly made delicious pizza using local ingredients.
Not deterred by the pandemic, they launched the new eatery in Whistable where their award-winning, thin-crust pizzas are cooked in a stone-based Italian oven for a fresh and flavoursome taste.
The pizza names are dedicated to the apple-producing county of Kent – fondly referred to as the Garden of England. Pizzas are named after varieties of apples from around the world, with names such as Fiesta, Jazz, Flamenco and Scrumptious.
Pizzas can be ordered to take away. Or you can eat in and enjoy a glass of wine, local Kent beer, or cider while people watching out the window as the world goes by.
Made daily, with organic dough, all pizzas are topped with fresh, locally sourced toppings and vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are available. It’s time to go grab your craft pizza to go!
