We love this new watersport venture, Paddle Cabin, launched by friends and co-founders Hayley and Jo who are in love with the paddle boarding way of life and all the incredible benefits and experiences that come with it. They offer Super-friendly SUP (Stand Up Paddleboard) sessions for all levels, from their cute cabin in East Peckham.

Here, Hayley and Jo have created loads of options for paddle boarding lessons, coaching, experiences and a community of local paddlers.

Whether that’s building your skills and confidence on the water, finding your tribe through the members and club nights, exploring the waters of the UK through the club’s trips, coming together to clean up the river, joining the social campfire paddles, calming your mind through their SUP Meditation, trying SUP Yoga and much more.

You can book a session for a special occasion (birthday fun with the girl-friends?) family sessions or even SUP Pups – yes you guessed it – classes with your four-legged friends.

The River Medway is a hidden gem, offering a tranquil and wide waterway, passing through meadows, woods and villages, offering a wide variety of birds and wildlife.

A paddle of 1.5 miles from the Cabin is Tea Pot Island and café, with more than 6,000 teapots, and a great pub, The BoatHouse – making the perfect day-trip destination.
