Teen Tips

Whether it's a downloadable talk on a really current topic - or individual advice for a very specific concern - you can get all the support and advice you need for parenting this age group right here...

Teenagers haven’t fundamentally changed but the world in which they live has. The pace of change is unprecedented and, with so much uncertainty, it is little wonder that many teens, and those supporting them, are struggling to cope.

Teen Tips is a one-stop-resource-shop for everything teen related. They provide a wealth of knowledge and contacts for both parents and schools – all based on the principle that when teachers and coaches, and parents and carers work together to promote strong self-esteem and emotional resilience, teenagers can thrive socially, emotionally and in education.

Whether it’s a downloadable talk on a really current topic – or individual advice for a very specific concern – you can get all the support and advice you need for parenting this age group (and let’s face it, we all will at some point right?). Help on offer includes Parenting Teens Courses, Webinars, Workshops and 1-2-1 Parenting Consultations. The Teen Tips team work with young people to help them develop the self-regulation and emotional agility they will need to overcome the inevitable challenges of life in the 21st Century.

This online learning tool and information hub was founded by Alicia Drummond, who is a BACP accredited psychotherapist, parent coach, speaker, author and, most importantly, a mother. The training she gives draws on the latest research from psychotherapy, psychology and neuroscience along with Alicia’s experience of working as an adolescent therapist and being a mum.

She works with over a hundred schools delivering talks and workshops to help parents, staff and pupils deepen their understanding of adolescence and promote emotional health and wellbeing. Alicia is the in-house mental health expert for School Notices and the in-house parenting specialist for the CQC clinic Esher Groves.

Parents or schools can join the Wellbeing Hub, which guarantees parenting and pastoral support at your fingertips. Membership of the Wellbeing Hub costs parents £7.99 per month. For more information & 7-day Free Trial HERE.
