The Talentz

Muddy says: Got a kid that has stars in their eyes – or who could just benefit from building their confidence by being part of an incredible stage production? Then why not sign them up to Talentz, the award-winning musical theatre company for 4 to 21 year olds offering exceptional training in the performing arts.

The Talentz is an award-winning musical theatre company for 4 to 21 year olds offering exceptional training in the performing arts. They deliver weekly classes in acting, singing and dance in addition to workshops, holiday courses, masterclasses with current West End performers, full-scale musical productions and an agency for children and young performers. They put on brilliant shows locally to showcase the talents of their students.

Basically if you’ve got a kid that has stars in their eyes and their heart set on perfecting their talents in performing arts then this is the theatre company for you. What’s more their fees are kept low and incredibly competitive, so not only are you receiving some of the best training around, it’s some of the most affordable too. Tick, tick.

They invest heavily in using live music and musicians in everything they do, from using a live pianist for auditions, to a full-sized professional orchestra of West End musicians for their productions – something rarely afforded to young performers.

They also employ some of the best teachers and creatives around. Talentz students have often gone on to study theatre or creative arts subjects at university.  Their students have performed – and continue to perform – at countless public events, festivals and showcases, including Glyndebourne, the Royal Albert Hall, The O2, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, as well as local professional shows.

For those interested in being the other side of the camera or those all-important jobs behind the scenes there’s also opportunities to work in stage management, sound and lighting, set and costume design and construction, and wardrobe and makeup, all under experienced supervision from industry professionals.

Whether performing is a passion, a hobby, or something your child has never even considered before, this youth theatre company can guide and nurture their talent and instil a newfound confidence that will stand them in good stead for the rest of their life.
