I've got my eye on this gorgeous graphic cushion, part of Habitat's new collaboration with supercool artist Quentin Jones. Wanna see more?
Nabbing a new cushion or too is such a quick, easy way to zhuzh up your living room, don’t you think? This month I’m eyeing these bold beauties from a brand new Habitat collaboration with hotter-than-hot artist, illustrator and film maker, Quentin Jones. The London-based daughter of two architects is the fashion industry’s favourite artist, creating covers for ELLE magazine and campaigns for Louis Vuitton but this is her first ever foray into the high street.
The collection is diddy – just four cushions and two rugs – but every piece packs a design punch. If you’re growing bored of your plain sofas and/or carpets, they’ll certainly add a talking point to the room.
Handmade in India to Quentin’s designs, the primary colours, monochrome lines and clever use of typography are inspired by the Bauhaus movement, and all pieces mix and match.
The range is quite a coup for Habitat so, chop chop, before all Quentin’s fashion friends buy the lot.
