Property Flirt:

Are you ready to get Flirty Gertie? Time for one of my favourite bits of the blogaroo! Because, yes I’m nosey and yes I have property envy and yessity yes YES I want to pretend for a moment that I’m going to be living in this house one day.

If you haven’t played Property Flirt before, tis easy. Look at the pics, read the clues, get a feel for the area and then see if you can guess the price. Those who come within £10k of the asking price get an ‘I HEART KENT’ key ring and my last Rolo. Subject to availability, of course. Oh, the Rolo’s just gone.

So, after you through the gates. No, no I insist…

So what we have here is Cob Tree Corner, in the historic village of Ightham (yes, of Ightham Mote fame, so loads to do with the kiddies). You’ve got the lovely shops and excellent schools of Sevenoaks (State, Independent, and Girls’ Grammar soon to open) just a few miles up the road… Borough Green train line into Victoria in 45 mins! Remember Sevenoaks, and surrounds, is a seriously sought after commutable area. (Clue!) Okay, okay so let’s see the house…

The kitchen (above) has all the mod-cons; from range cooker to Italian granite work surfaces (but, of course…) And the generous triple aspect sitting room (below) has a wonderful outlook over the gardens and double doors open to the south facing terrace. Check out some more piccies here. You can see it’s a modern gem of a property, in good nick and tastefully decorated…

Over all it has 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 3 reception rooms and a landscaped and sizeable garden (put it this way, I couldn’t throw a ball from the bottom of the garden and hit the house!). Outside is stunning, with the established landscaped gardens being a real feature of the house and plenty of options for fabulous al fresco entertaining. Lets take a quick stroll along the gravelled lavender path, below, then shimmy ourselves into one of these comfortable looking seats. I feel in need of some some refreshments…

Ah, what a lovely turn around the garden. Now I think I’ve found your happy place in this side courtyard (below) – no one will see you sneak in a cheeky afternoon nap…

Wakey, wakey! So, feeling refreshed and ready to puzzle over the price? Guess within the nearest £10k and I’ll put in a good word for you at your nearest estate agent – clearly you’re in the wrong job!
