The Ivy, Tunbridge Wells
The Ivy is coming to Kent - keep reading Muddy for exclusives & make sure you're first to be In The Know...
What? You’ve probably already heard news that The Ivy Royal Tunbridge Wells is opening this November – which will bring a touch of the brand’s famous glamour, style and culinary delights to Kent – but in an all-day casual, dining setting.
Where? Set to move in to the premises previously occupied by Jamie’s Italian on the lower end of the High Street, just a few minutes walk from the Pantiles (pretty pedestrianised area at the bottom of town.) The new restaurant will have space for 105 covers, a bar and a Parisian style alfresco seating area for guests to enjoy throughout the year.
Details please! Well, it will do what the brand does best – offer quality food and delicious cocktails, of course. Above is an artists impression that they’ve released of what it will look like inside. The Ivy Royal Tunbridge Wells will serve modern British classics from dawn until dusk, including breakfast, elevenses, weekend brunch, lunch, afternoon tea, light snacks, dinner and cocktails. The kitchen will be overseen by Executive Chef Sean Burbidge, whilst the restaurant’s affordable menus incorporate a selection of The Ivy classics, including its famous shepherd’s pie, Eggs Benedict, brioche crumbled chicken Milanese and the sumptuous strawberry ice cream sundae with vanilla ice cream, meringue and shortbread. For an idea of what to expect, here’s the Muddy review of The Ivy Marlow Garden which just launched this summer.
Exclusive Muddy details, you say? Clearly the restaurant will be packed to the rafters when it opens its doors, and probably forever-after-amen. But fear not – we have been promised exclusive updates on the opening so WATCH THIS SPACE and make sure you read your Muddy newsletters (sign up here) so you’re first in the know!
