Christmas cancelled? Not on our watch! It might look a little different this year, but here's how to make the most of the festive season in 2020 with these 7 things to do (which all follow Covid-guidelines obvs)

Nurse Nellie Saves Panto, Virtual Panto, Weds 23 Dec – Sun 3 Jan 2021

The Marlowe Theatre is keeping the magic of panto alive this 2020! Stream their Nurse Nellie Saves Panto directly into your living room completely free of charge! Donations to Love Your Theatre are hugely appreciated. When a baddie steals the joy of pantomime, will Nurse Nellie and her friends manage to rescue it? Oh yes they will!

Starring the award-winning Marlowe pantomime legend, Ben Roddy, this hilarious extravaganza will feature panto’s greatest hits, including great musical numbers, hilarious comedy routines and of course, the legendary ghost gag bench.

The stream (also available with BSL interpretation, audio description and captioning) will be available to watch until 11:59pm on Sun 3 Jan 2021. All you need to do is register for the stream is follow this link and click ‘view dates and book’.

Jack & The Two Metre Beanstalk, Virtual Panto, Sat 19 Dec

Enjoy some panto magic from the comfort of your own home! Experience Jack and The Two Metre Beanstalk live streamed performances this Saturday at 4:30pm and 7:30pm filmed on their fabulous Stag stage in Sevenoaks. Tickets are £15. Don’t forget your sweets and popcorn! Book now.

Winter Activity Trail, Bateman’s, Sat 5 Dec – Sun 10 Jan 2021

There is so much to see and do at Bateman’s this Christmas! Join the Peter Rabbit Winter Adventure Activity Trail, spot all kinds of nature and help Peter’s friends as you make your way around the Bateman’s gardens. Blow away the cobwebs with winter walks in the stunning Hever Castle gardens. The Winter Garden will be in full bloom with the fiery reds, oranges and yellows of brightly coloured Dogwood stems will sure lift your spirits! Take a walk around the lake and keep your eyes pealed for wildlife and waterfowl.
