NOW OPEN: Water Lane Walled Garden, Hawkhurst

Water Lane Walled Garden (previously The Walled Nursery) is an idyllic walled garden with a vinery and a stunning collection of Victorian glasshouses. You definitely don’t wanna miss their ‘pop up’ restaurant which is now open for the summer and their small shop selling garden plants and beautiful wares for the garden and home. Coming soon are their range of creative and practical workshops in their pavilion. Walk around the grounds, vegetable garden and beautiful rows of seasonal flowers. BRAND NEW: Soul Fit, Edenbridge

Soul Fit is a brand new health and fitness hub on Hever Road in Edenbridge with everything you could possibly need to feel good! CELEB SPOTTING: Jack Whitehall visits The Crescent Turner, Whitstable

If you’re a regular reader of Muddy, you’ll already know how much we rate The Crescent Turner Hotel sitting pretty in Whitstable – now it’s on Jack Whitehall‘s radar too! We spotted his visit on his Instagram Stories. If you haven’t discovered yet, let us give you the lowdown…. It’s the perfect place to escape the crowds of Whitstable for one of the best sundowner spots in Kent and if the mood takes you, stay for dinner and the night since it boasts 18 bedrooms – many with sea views. The kitchen offers tapas and light bites or head to their restaurant Palm Pavillion for a foodie feast.

GLAMPING: Barn Garden Bell Tents, Woolton Farm, nr Canterbury

Like cider? Experience this glamping experience with a difference! Visit Woolton Farm, near Canterbury, home of Kentish Pip and their fabulous range of award-winning, distinctive East of England ciders. They use the best ingredients, innovation, style and a pinch of tradition to create their ciders. Visit the shop, stroll around the cider garden, sit and drink in the sun, enjoy one of their group tours and tasting experiences – even get some food from the BBQ on weekends, 11am-7pm! 

So make a weekend of it and stay in one of their Bell Tents in The Barn Garden. They have 8 bell tents located in the fruit garden, all well-spaced nestled in a row of cobnut trees with views into the fruit garden. Bliss! No need to worry about taxis here (hic).

ART: Summer Exhibition, West End House, Smarden, Until 12 Sep

Summer has arrived at West End House Gallery! This beautiful contemporary gallery is based in the heart of historic Smarden. They show a range of artworks including paintings, prints and ceramics so make sure to pop by this summer for their Exhibition showing an eclectic and colourful collection of work from artists near and far. Open Thurs-Sun, 10am-5pm.

NEW DATE: Leeds Castle Concert, Sat 4 Sep 2021

The iconic event has already established itself as one of the highlights of the summer season, set in the most stunning location and natural amphitheatre in front of the beautiful Leeds Castle. People in their thousands have attended the stunning setting for over forty years to be entertained by this amazing open-air musical delight. The Leeds Castle Concert is back on Sat 4 Sep 2021 with world-classic music, a spectacular fly-over with a Spitfire and a fireworks finale. Bring the champagne and snap up your spot now!

BRAND NEW: Enchanted Globes, Boughton Monchelsea
