BRAND NEW: May Farm, Small Holding, Kilndown, 2020

The Small Holding (Best Restaurant Muddy Awards 2019) run by Will Devlin (Chef to Watch, Good Food Guide 2020) is now launching May Farm, a rural country retreat. This three-bedroom barn sleeping up to six is in the blissful solitude of 40 acres of farm and woodland (dogs and muddy boots are welcome too!). From a welcoming log burner, underfloor heating, a large high-spec kitchen and even a smeg fridge full of Kentish wines, beers and The Small Holding’s own charcuterie and local cheeses – sounds like the perfect getaway! Growing, foraging and cooking the best ingredients is at the core of The Small Holding, with daily changing menus, using home-reared and home-grown ingredients from the farm, which are less than 10ft from the kitchen. Book your stay now!

Immersive Theatre Experience: Black Fate, The Beacon, 28 Jan – 8 Feb 2020

Book now for Get Out Of My Space’s immersive adaptation of William Shakespeare’s Black Fate a take-on Romeo & Juliet with a twist. GOOMS was founded in 2014 who set out to engage audiences in new ways, each show being more ambitious than the last, let them welcome you to theatre like you’ve never experienced it before! Set in The Beacon, Tunbridge Wells. You’ll be masked and permitted to roam the house freely, however you wish. You’ll remain unnoticed by the characters for the duration of the evening, get as close to the action as you like. Whether you choose to follow the certain storylines, wander between rooms at ease or explore the set and let the action happen around you – the story is yours! Tickets are £25 each, starting at 7:30 pm. They sell-out so get in quick!
