Support Local and keep the festive spirit alive by ordering your decorations from Kent’s cutest Christmas shop. Every year brilliant Sutton Valence florist, Sue Davies, turns her floristry in The Old Butcher’s Shop into a perky, quirky Christmas Shop. Christmas just wouldn’t be the same without it.
Hurray! This year it’s back – but all online this time. Sue has put as many decorations as possible in her shop window so passers by can see what the decs look like before buying.
You just order online for ‘Click and Collect‘ – you’ll have to swing by to pick up the goodies. We love her range – there’s nothing you can’t find in this treasure trove!

TRY THIS: Brilliant new virtual Barre exercise class, from FindurFit
Okay, so it’s happening again, but this time without the sunshine. So why not get in your best shape ever from the comfort of your sitting room or kitchen?
Findurfit is run by Sarah Best the super approachable and friendly online fitness class instructor and personal trainer. Sarah promises to inspire you to make fitness part of your life and find a love of exercise whatever level you are.
If it’s the long, lean look you’re after this class will provide the right mix of ballet inspired moves, gymnasticy core work and mobility.
It’s low impact but still full body – expect to lift, squeeze and pulse every muscle! You will improve your core strength, flexibility and muscle tone…oh and find a few muscles you never knew you had! Equipment: Mat, kitchen counter/chair, lightweights.
RESTAURANT SUNDAY ROAST: from The Curious Eatery, delivered to your door
If you’re a regular reader you’ll know we love this sister-run, hidden-gem of a restaurant in Boughton Monchelsea.
The Curious Eatery has really demonstrated how to pivot and adapt in challenging times. During lockdown they created BBQ boxes which they delivered (we treated ourselves to one for Mr Muddy’s birthday this summer – delicious!).
