Nina Conti: In Your Face, Tunbridge Wells Assembly Hall Theatre, Mon 23 Oct

Bursting with fresh and astonishing spontaneity, the voice-throwing queen is back. Fully-deserving British Comedy Award Winner, Nina Conti, improvises unforgettable puppetry using live audience members in cartoonish masks, with the help if her simian sidekick Monkey. She’s stormed Live at the ApolloSunday Night at the Palladium and made a BAFTA nominated film all without moving her lips, but this smash hit sell-out show is something to shout about.

Joel Dommett Live, The Orchard Theatre, Wed 25 Oct

Described as one of the UK’s most energetic and exciting comedians, Joe is returning to the road with his solo show, Joel Dommett: Live. Catch the star of 2016’s I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here and Sky1’s Bring The Noise as he delivers his high octane comedy to venues up and down the country.

Natural Beauty Workshop, Kingdom, Penshurst, Sat 28 Oct

Join ‘green’ makeup artist and holistic therapist Ellie Gill for an afternoon learning all about natural beauty. The event will take place at the beautiful new venue in Penshurst, Kingdom. If you haven’t been there yet you can read about it here – it’s a beautiful building with a Basil café downstairs. The natural beauty workshop will cover skincare advice and a facial massage lesson, why it’s important to use non-toxic cosmetics, which items are the most important or easiest to swap first and a makeup masterclass amongst other things. You will also receive a complimentary goodie bag upon arrival. It starts at 12 noon to 3pm.

Halloween Half Term Fun, Hever Castle, 21 – 29 Oct

Prepare to be spooked this Halloween at Hever Castle & Gardens. Meet Viscous Vampire and his Goblin friend in the Creepy Crypt and hear terrifying tales of goblins, trolls, witches and vampires. Follow the eerie Halloween trail, help ward off vampires with a spooky activity and sink your teeth into a sweet treat at the cupcake decorating workshop. With prizes for the best creepy costumes, a visit to Hever Castle is sure to be fang-tastic fun for all the family.

Wacky Witches & Wizards, Leeds Castle, 23 – 29 Oct

Family fun on this treasure trail – find the wacky witches and wizards around the Castle grounds and listen to their spooky tales although beware, they often get themselves in a monster muddle. The silly sorcerers are making big mistakes, note them on your trail card to be rewarded with a chocolate prize. A spooky quest is available in the Woodland Walk for younger visitors (small additional charge applies). Join in the fancy dress competition at 2pm each day, dance in the fun children’s ‘Monster Mash Ball’ and take part in the ghoulish games.

Halloween Witches Brew, Little Street, Maidstone, Sat 21 – Sun 29 Oct

If you’ve got Little Ones then you’re going to love Little Street! They are play centres where everything has been scaled down to be the perfect size for little people. Children can literally drive around the streets in a miniature vehicle, go shopping in at the supermarket or meet their friends in the café. This half term join Little Street in Maidstone for some spook-tacular fun – find the ingredients for a witches brew and receive a sweet reward & sticker. There’ll also be a frightful fancy dress and photo competition. All activities are included in the standard session price.

Half-term fun at the farm, The Hop Farm, 21 – 29 October

Treat the kids to a spook-tastic feast of fun for the half term holidays!  Dress up in your best Halloween fancy dress and come and join in! They have everything from Pumpkin Carving, Fancy dressed competitions, ghoulish face painting, 4D Cinema, Magic Shows to Creepy story telling. A fantastic day out for all the family and ideal for kids who want to join in the Halloween spirit over half term. And look out for some extra special treats that you’ll find on arrival!

End of Year Parade, Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway, 28 & 29 Oct

Rounding off the railway’s 90th anniversary year with a finale to be proud of, this parade will including a special tribute to Hercules and Samson, their Mountain Class locomotives.
