Dazzling Daffodils, Hever Castle, Weds 20 – Sun 24 March

Hever Castle estate will be open for visitors to discover their beautiful rare daffodils. Take a tour of the daffodils including Anne Boleyn’s spectacular Orchard which are some of the oldest on the estate and a tour of the grounds led by bulb legend Johnny Walkers and Hever’s head gardener Neil Miller. A sight you don’t want to miss! Hooray for Spring!

Meet The Brewers, Macknade Fine Foods, Faversham, Fri 22 Mar

Due to popular demand, Meet The Brewers is back for the fifth year running! Macknade’s was voted Best Deli/Farm Shop in Kent by you (in the Muddy Awards) and is a food lover’s heaven – so why not join the team as they invite a handful of the finest brewers & cider-makers in-store for a special event celebrating the great & the good of British brewing. Starting at 6.30pm, you will learn all about the brewing process, sample & compare the beer & cider on offer and take advantage of an exclusive opportunity to shop late in-store. We’ll also have plenty of tasty food to compliment the beers… and to soak up those free-flowing beer samples. The evening is FREE OF CHARGE, but tickets are limited, so please register for a space below. Everyone attending will enjoy an exclusive offer of 12 for the price of 10, or 6 for the price of 5, across our full range of beer & cider.

Jon Doran at Lilford Gallery, Canterbury, Fri 22 March 

Starting Fri 22 March is the Jon Doran’s solo show at Lilford Gallery in Canterbury. Doran is one of Lilford’s most popular artists, extremely talented, he has made a impressive collection of works which is available to view at the gallery. Doran’s work is based on his immediate surroundings but recently woodland waterfall scenes have become a dominant interest, these scenes come from Yorkshire, Cornwall and France. There’s a wide range of elements which makes for an interesting work both in the making and the final outcome.

Evening with The Hairy Bikers, The Marlowe Theatre, Sat 23 March

An epic night of cooking and conversation! National Treasures Sir King and Dave Myers, aka The Hairy Bikers will be at The Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury on Sat 23 March starting at 7:30 pm. The Hairy Bikers have been cooking together for more than 20 years, they’ve created haute cuisine dishes with Michelin-starred chefs and travelled the world in the pursuit of great food. Only a few tickets remaining! 

9 to 5 Musical, Trinity Theatre, Sun 24 March 

Tumble outta’ bed and stumble to Dolly Parton’s rip-roaring West End musical! 9 to 5: The Musical performed by Chichester’s celebrated Tour Company at The Trinity Theatre in Tunbridge Wells on Sun 24 March. 9 to 5; the Musical tells the story of Doralee, Violet and Judy – three workmates pushed to boiling point by their sexist and egotistical boss. Concocting a plan to kidnap and turn the tables on their despicable supervisor, will the girls manage to reform their office – or will events unravel when the CEO pays an unexpected visit? Inspired by the cult film this hilarious new touring production is about teaming up, standing up and taking care of business! The production features a West End professional live band and some of the most freshest voices, dancers and actors on stage. Showing at 7:30 pm, there’s still a few tickets left.
