FULL / BESPOKE INTERIOR DESIGN SERVICE

They have a full interior design service (mainly in the Kent area), especially for complete refurbishments from concept to completion. They start by capturing a  prescriptive brief of your lifestyle, personality and practical requirements then weave this through all aspects of the design.

Specifying everything from wall finishes, floors, joinery, lighting design to all the soft furnishings and finishing touches.

Contractors and third-party trades are briefed with a fully specified schedule of works and drawing pack for quotation, providing certainty on budget and timing. They will also be there during implementation to help solve any unknowns that a project can encounter during works.

SPACE PLANNING SERVICE

Would you like to explore the potential of your space and work it to the max? This is for you!

Before you brief an Architect or Structural Engineer, they’ll analyse the entire space to ensure it flows ergonomically and aligns with your lifestyle and practical needs. They’ll show you how to maximise the utilisation of each room and demonstrate how this works using 2D, 3D plans and reference images.

Or if you already have Architect’s plans, they can review them, suggest amendments, and develop a layout for all furniture and fittings before works begin!

STYLING SERVICE

If your space is already completed but lacking a sense of cohesion and character, Barkerdesign can source the finishing touches – such as paint, wallpaper, upholstery, window dressing fabrics and accessories.

In most cases they can recommend specialist trades to implement and create a sample pack with costs to progress yourself.

If you love their personality-led designs then this provides you with a flavour to finish your space in style.

This is a great option for brain-storming any design-dilemmas you might be experiencing along your project journey- especially when decision fatigue sets in!

The two-hour Consultation provides clarity from an expert with over 14yrs design experience on anything from reviewing layouts, recommendations on furniture and finishes to advice on lighting design and trades. Or it could be simply providing project guidance when you don’t know where to start!
