Cheers! Top celebrity tipples to try this summer

From Gillian Anderson’s G Spot to Emma Watson’s gin, drinks are the new fragrances when it comes to stars’ side-hustles. Here are our top summer sips.

Ever since Kylie launched her pink Prosecco, we’ve had a soft spot for celebrity drinks. George Clooney kick-started the trend with his Casamigos tequila, and since then a long list of celebs have followed suit, from Hollywood elite (Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s Château Miraval), to, erm, Britain’s finest – that’s you Gary Barlow and your organic red and white wines.

And now there are three more star launches to get your tastebuds excited this summer, and they’re not all about the booze!

Emma Watson gin

Renais Gin by Emma Watson

The A-list actress joined forces with her brother Alex to launch a Chablis-inspired spirit in May, which sounds right up our street. Apparently the result is great with tonic or in a Negroni, with ‘floral notes of violet and spring blossom, and aromas of wet limestone, lemon and lime.’ Blimey.
Renais gin first edition, £45

Betty Buzz by Blake Lively

Betty Buzz by Blake Lively

Available exclusively in the UK at Whole Foods Market, Blake’s posh new drinks brand sounds refreshing: think ginger beer, sparkling lemon lime, sparkling grapefruit and Meyer lemon club soda. If you’re alcohol-free, they’re a great alternative to booze. Or, if you’re like Muddy and love a cheeky cocktail at the weekend, use them as a mixer.
From £8.99 for a four-pack, Whole Foods Market

Gillian Anderson G Spot

G Spot by Gillian Anderson

Loving the naughty name of Sex Education star Gillian’s new soft drinks line. Fed up of all the high sugar, caffeinated beverages on the market, she decided to invest in her own healthy brand of non-alcoholic drinks during the pandemic. The result is three drink choices, Soothe, Lift and Protect, and the website proudly states: “Need help finding your G Spot? Try our magnificent threesome, twice!” Chortle.
Friends with Benefits Box, £17.99 for six.
