Treat him for Father’s Day
The perfect Father’s Day gift, that you will love too. And the very essence of summer in a bottle – step forward this season’s brand new batch of Elderflower Cider, from Muddy favourite Turners.
Looking for the perfect Father’s Day gift? We have just the thing. Award-winning Turners Cider new season’s Elderflower Cider has dropped! (Not literally, that would be very messy). If you’ve tried it, you’ll know why we’re excited. If not, let us tell you why they’re the apple of our eye.
Sitting as we do in the Garden of England, surrounded by glorious apple orchards, it’s no surprise we Kent folk love our cider. And there’s a lot to love about Turners Cider – a family business based in the village of Marden, in the Weald of Kent – whose range includes seasonal flavours like Apple Pie, Elderflower, Pear and Rhubarb, each with its own unique crisp and fresh taste.
May and Phil Turner, the husband and wife team behind the brand, create their range of craft ciders in the ‘Eastern counties’ style: that means entirely from only ‘Eating’ and ‘Cooking’ apples. Each type of apple involved in the process has been carefully selected for its flavour, which is why they use so many traditional varieties such as Cox, Worcester, Bramley and Russet.
First they built a name for themselves with their award-winning artisan apple cider. Then they extended their first-rate range with a luxury Champagne Method fine cider. And now their most recent addition is an exceptional Apple Gin. No wonder they were winner of Best Local Food & Drink Producer in Kent, in the 2023 Muddy Stilettos Awards, as voted by you.
The craft ciders are made from 100% juice, with no concentrate, nothing artificial and some products (like the ingredients for the Apple Pie Cider) are actually handmade by May in the family kitchen.
The result is a range of clean, light and refreshing ciders with a balance of sweetness and acidity. Perfect for summer drinking, for thirst-quenching (it’s great on the rocks with ice), as an aperitif and with many types of food. A mixed flavour case of 12 bottles – including this season’s Elderflower – starts at just £42.
