THE LOWDOWN

Brabourne Vineyard is a labour of love in every sense. After moving back to the UK with their three children, Paul and Hester fell in love with their home, their land and the village of East Brabourne, and what started as a dream of keeping a few chickens and growing fruit trees soon turned into a full-blown vineyard adventure. Fast forward to today and the family lovingly tends their vines by hand, producing a range of medal-winning sparkling and still wines.

Unlike larger vineyards, a visit to Brabourne is a much more personal affair. Tours and tastings are available by appointment, giving guests the chance to discover the story behind the vineyard, learn about the winemaking process and enjoy a relaxed tasting experience surrounded by beautiful countryside.

THE WINE

Brabourne’s wines are a celebration of Kent’s incredible wine-growing landscape, with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes carefully grown on the vineyard’s chalky slopes before being transformed into elegant sparkling and still wines.
