THE LOWDOWN
Tucked away in the beautiful Kent countryside, Brenley Wine is a fresh take on a family legacy that spans generations. Tom and his family have been farming Brenley Farm for years, growing everything from apples and pears to hops, and, more recently, grapes. In 2009, they planted their first vines, and by 2019, they took the leap to start producing their own wine. Now, Brenley Wine isn’t just a dream but a growing reality, proudly made in Kent.
At Brenley, you’ll find Bacchus, Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay vines thriving alongside traditional Kent crops. With a changing climate lending the South East of England an ideal microclimate for grape-growing, Brenley Wine brings together modern viticulture techniques and a deep understanding of the land, ensuring each bottle reflects the quality of the Kent landscape.
THE FARM
Brenley Farm itself is something special. The farm’s historical roots run deep, with buildings like the Georgian stables and the medieval thatched granary adding character to this unique spot. The Berry family has been working this land since the 1800s, always farming with a sense of sustainability and care, ensuring this rich and diverse landscape is protected for future generations.
Since their first release, Brenley Bacchus, in 2020, the lineup has grown to include a Rosé, a Red, and even a Sparkling wine. But at Brenley, it’s not just about the wine – it’s about sharing it with everyone. They’re all about making wine approachable and fun, so you don’t have to be an expert to enjoy a glass.
THE SHOP
