LYTHE BARN, DYMCHURCH

Just a stone’s throw away from Dymchurch sea front, you’ll find this enchanting Lathe Barn campsite. Here you can soak up the wonderful views of the surrounding hills and Lympne Castle.

With a choice of accommodation options, a selection of activities for all campers to enjoy and delicious fresh food and drink, it provides a truly unforgettable stay. Dymchurch sits on the coast between New Romney on one side and Hythe and Folkestone on the other – with plenty to explore in the area.

SELSON FARM, SANDWICH

Alternatively, you can book your trip to the fantastic Selson Farm for a true family camping experience. It provides the perfect spot, nestled between splendid cherry, pear and apple trees. You’ll be able to tuck into some precious family time.

Bring your own tent, small campervan or trailer tent and get back to nature. Here you’re near the cool coastal towns of Deal and Ramsgate, with the long sweep of Sandwich Bay between them.

THE LOWDOWN

Both Lathe Barne and Selson Farm campsites give you the opportunity to roam wide open spaces and wake up surrounded by natural beauty each morning. They really are the best of both worlds – offering all the wonders of the great outdoors but with no compromise on modern comforts.

Here, it’s all about choice. If you want to go fancy, there are 15 furnished bell tents for hire (and two unfurnished if you want to go glam, but with your own gear). Or if you’re a pure camper and want to pitch your own tent – then there’s that option too! And – if you give the team enough notice – it’s possible to mix and match all of the above in your group.

YOUR STAY

The facilities and well-stocked onsite shop have you covered from morning to night. Plus, with a car-free policy and ‘quiet sites’ from 10.30pm, you can enjoy a peaceful, stress-free time together.

Getting some shut eye will be important, because your days at Fallow Fields will be jam-packed with fun activities and games. Get active with sports, enjoy a little dose of healthy competition or grab the popcorn for a movie night at the cinema. There’s also loads of brilliant walks and day trips in the area. Family-friendly is the buzz-word here.

But, rest assured, adults are well catered for too, with yoga sessions, wine tasting and a Gin and Fizz Bar at our Selson Farm site. The campsite’s dedicated staff are there to ensure you have a truly special stay. Sounds like the perfect set up to us.
