There’s so many reasons to love a farm shop. With their tempting selection of locally sourced, fresh goodies. As a general rule, they also offer a personal service alongside high-quality produce – not to mention it’s obviously the best way to shop if you’re conscious of the environment and like to support local businesses. And Groombridge Farm Shop is all these things and more – having won Best Farm Shop / Deli in Kent in the Muddy Awards 2023, they really are the best at what they do.

THE LOCATION

You’ll find it west of Tunbridge Wells, just off the A264 not far from Langton Green, on the Kent and Sussex border.

Local provenance is key to their offering and Groombridge Farm shop have been championing produce from Kent and Sussex for 25 years – which means rich pickings as there’s so much brilliant produce here in the Garden of England.

The aim here, they say, is to bring back a time when we knew where the food on our plate was from. Best of all, they grow a lot of their produce on the farm, and they work with a collection of local businesses and manufacturers in Kent and Sussex.

FOOD & DRINK

Whether it’s Fruit or Veg Boxes, Dairy and Eggs, Meat and Fish or something from the Deli and Pantry – there’s a steady stream of seasonal delights here. Why not grab something from the Bakery section? From their delicious suppliers like Groombridge Bakery, The Good Home Cook, Fresh Dough Baker and The Bread Smith – to name a few!

Or a local wine or gin? We’re big fans of their brilliant selection of hampers – which includes a Picnic Hamper, Full English Hamper, BBQ Hamper or Cheese Hamper – plus Veggie versions. These cost between £20 and £50 and make great gifts.
