Hidden within 13 acres of magical woodland in Penshurst, Kingdom is a striking glass and timber clubhouse where wellness, nourishment and celebration sit naturally alongside one another. Just 35 miles south of London and a short drive from Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells, Kingdom offers a space to slow down, breathe and reconnect with nature.

Kingdom is far more than a café with a view, it’s a woodland sanctuary designed around movement, wellbeing and time spent outdoors. The philosophy of “Nature Stacking” encourages you to build a day around experiences that support both body and mind, whether that’s yoga followed by a woodland walk, holistic massage, sound healing, wild sauna sessions with The Hot Box Co, outdoor training or simply sitting quietly among the trees.

The wellness programme includes yoga sessions, cold water exposure after sauna use, and outdoor fitness options designed to suit a range of abilities. Everything at Kingdom is focused on helping you reconnect with yourself and the natural environment in a way that feels balanced, accessible and restorative.

NOURISH AT THE KINGDOM CAFE

Located on the lower ground floor, the Kingdom Café is a destination in its own right, serving feel-good food made from locally sourced, seasonal ingredients. The menu centres on wholesome, nourishing dishes alongside excellent coffee, freshly baked pastries and homemade cakes, all enjoyed with panoramic countryside views. Relaxed and welcoming, it’s perfect for post-yoga refuelling, a long lunch with friends or a coffee stop after a woodland walk. Dogs are warmly welcomed.

WOODLAND WEDDING VENUE

Set within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Kingdom is one of Kent’s most distinctive woodland wedding venues. The 9,500 sq ft glass and timber clubhouse offers earthy, natural interiors and sweeping views across the woodland landscape, creating a relaxed yet spectacular setting for ceremonies and celebrations. Couples can exchange vows beneath the ancient Seven Sisters tree before moving to the open deck terrace for sunset drinks and dancing beneath the trees. With space for up to 150 guests, Kingdom is ideal for weddings that feel immersive, joyful and deeply connected to nature.
