Korean Cowgirl at Cave & Riverside, Canterbury

Texas smoked BBQ meets Korean dishes in this industrial cool restaurant. It’s no wonder you can’t get enough of this dining destination.

THE LOCATION

Heard of The Cave near Canterbury? It’s Kent’s deliberately dramatic and modern, high-spec hotel – that gained a reputation as ‘Kent’s most luxurious hotel’ and for its on-site restaurant, The Korean Cowgirl.

Their second restaurant is closer to the city centre – Canterbury’s new £115 million leisure complex. This dining destination promises all the favourite flavours that made the original Korean Cowgirl so popular – a unique blend of Texas and Asian, Korean style dishes.

THE LOWDOWN

This latest venue means the Korean Cowgirl has expanded beyond The Cave because diners just can’t get enough of their smoked meats and amazing wings.

FOOD & DRINK

So, what’s the story? Two well-travelled friends wanted to share their favourite flavours with the world. These being Texas-inspired slow smoked BBQ, cooked overnight, over only real wood. Matched with authentic Korean extra crispy double fried chicken. All hand-brushed with flavoursome signature sauces and meat rubs. This is proper comfort food stuff!

From sticky spare rib stacks to honey butter fried chicken wings, not forgetting their incredible USDA smoked beef brisket in a salt and pepper rub. Vegetarian, or gluten conscious? They’ve got that covered too.

This can all be washed down with their fabulous cocktails – all mixed with the right amount of fun and theatrics. Put on your glad rags, we’re heading here!
