Loddington Farm is a fifth generation apple and pear farm in the heart of the Kent countryside, run by the Smith family since 1882. Now in 2024, this exciting farm should firmly be on your radar. Farmer and Manager, James Smith is changing the way produce is grown where regenerating the land, farming with nature and sustainable agriculture is at the heart of the farm’s mission.

It’s not conventional farming and it’s not ‘organic’ farming, it’s farming with nature instead of chemicals to produce more nutritious, more environmentally-friendly food – something we can all get onboard with!

FARM SHOP

We’d highly recommend a visit to the Loddington Farm Shop which has become a window to the wider work they’re doing at the farm. Browse the local produce or pick up a bottle or two of their delicious Owlet Fruit Juice. Yup, Loddington Farm are also producers of an award-winning range of juices made with fruit that’s been grown on the farm and then pressed, bottled and labelled on-site, they’re very delicious.

Only opened its doors in January 2024, the award-winning farm shop work with a number of local, carefully selected suppliers in order to champion the best food and drink that Kent has to offer. You can find a variety of seriously tasty goodies from fresh produce, local meat, bread, dairy and pantry staples, that’s all been made right by your front door.

Loddington Farm grow as much of their own produce at the farm and you can buy their own eggs, pork, venison and of course, juice. You should check it out stat.

EVENTS

Loddington Farm is so much more than beautiful fruit orchards, over the years it’s become a community of people and businesses that represent their passion and values, with each one offering something unique and special to the local area. You can be assured that there’s a calendar of regular events throughout the year, whether it’s PYO Flowers & Pizza, a farm tour, a movie night under the stars, cherry picking or one of their infamous hog roasts.
