Feel a little bit lighter at this beautiful and tranquil Yoga Studio based in the heart of Royal Tunbridge Wells. Founder Julia opened in 2016 with an emphasis on holistic yoga, promoting breath work and meditation as well as a physical practice.
The Yoga House is a collective of highly trained and experienced yoga teachers all with different skill sets and so much passion for sharing yoga, working with both individuals and groups. Create lasting, positive change with their regular schedule of yoga classes, workshops and host visiting teachers.
The new buzz word is ‘mindfulness’ but it is really just another word to describe what yogis have been practicing for centuries. Practicing postures is stage one of yoga, it’s really about working with the breath to steady the mind. That is the philosophy they follow at The Yoga House.
In the modern world our minds are full of excess ‘stuff’. We can’t stop thinking about all the things we need to do and places we need to be and yoga is a way of taking a break from the stress of day to day life while creating a little harmony in the body both physically and mentally.
