THE LOWDOWN

Trinity is a vibrant cultural hub, located in the former Holy Trinity Church in the heart of Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent. Best known for theatrical productions, stand-up comedy, live music and cinema, Trinity is both a commercial and charitable organisation with community front and centre.

The splendour of the converted church adds to the special feel of the venue and Trinity welcomes over 90,000 people through the doors annually.

THEATRE & FILM

With a full events calendar throughout the year, Trinity is acknowledged as one of the leading arts and performance venues in the South East of England.

For locals Trinity is the venue of choice, walking distance from the centre of Tunbridge Wells. From puppetry and talks to NT Live screening there is something for everyone.  . The Christmas Pantomime, Sleeping Beauty, is a hilarious treat for the festive season. They also put on brilliant, family-friendly performances and Youth Theatre in all the school holidays – like Easter and Summer too.

There’s a full film schedule as well – from the latest box office releases to timeless classics – there’s something for everyone to enjoy here.

COMEDY & MUSIC

Music fan? There’s regular live music and concerts. Or there’s tribute acts galore – with performers singing all the greatest hits from top artists like Adele, Coldplay, Genesis and many more.

YOUTH THEATRE

Plus, there’s so much here to get young, budding thespians involved. With regular kids-friendly performances they’ll love, as well as a Kids Comedy Club – and best of all some brilliant acting and film-making workshops. From ‘Play in a Day’ or ‘Movie in a Week’ (ages 13-19) – if your child or teen loves the world of stage and screen they can really get inspired with these brilliant courses.

CAFE & BAR

With fresh coffee and delicious homemade cakes, the café is open 10am – 3pm Monday through to Saturday and an hour before all evening performances. Enjoy a glass of wine during the show! So welcoming café at the entrance, local community at its heart and creativity running through its veins… There’s lots to love about this vibrant, local theatre!
