<p>Fiona says: &#8216;A good Buying Agent will be very transparent about their fees. There is a cost involved and this should be considered alongside other moving costs &#8211; like stamp duty, solicitors&nbsp;fees and removals for example. <p>&#8216;There&#8217;s a non-refundable registration fee (£700 + vat for a 16 week search period) but this is deductible from the final success fee. The success fee is payable on exchange of contracts and is a percentage of the agreed purchase price. Whilst this cannot be guaranteed, I will always endeavour to save my client&#8217;s the success fee during my negotiations.&#8217;</p>
