<p>Directed by&nbsp;<em>We are Lady Parts</em>&nbsp;creator, Nida Manzoor,&nbsp;<strong><em>Polite Society</em></strong>&nbsp;centres around sisters Ria and Lena Khan (played superbly by Priya Kansara and&nbsp;<em>Umbrella Acadamy’s</em>&nbsp;Ritu Arya). Ria dreams of becoming a stunt woman like her idol and gladiator legend, Eunice Huthart, (we know, what a throwback!), enter some shady in-laws and she soon gets to put those high-kicking, kung-fu skills to the test – HI-YAH! This energetic, spunky, fun film is like a mash up of&nbsp;<em>Kick Ass</em>&nbsp;and<em>&nbsp;Bend it Like Beckham</em>&nbsp;and, needless to say, we’re here for it.</p>

<p>British acting royalty, Jim Broadbent and Penelope Wilton, front this emotional rollercoaster of a movie, (seriously, strap yourselves in). Based on the best-selling novel by Rachel Joyce about pensioner Harold Fry who walks from Devon to Berwick-upon-Tweed to give an old friend, dying from cancer, hope (aww). On his heartening, 600 mile mission, he walks through a life’s worth of grief, pain and regret while meeting some lovely folk along the way – keep those tissues handy as you’re going to need them!&nbsp;</p>

<p>Chris Pratt has come a long way since his&nbsp;<em>Parks and Rec</em>&nbsp;days, but what he’s gained in abs he hasn’t lost in humour (hurrah!). He’s back with an all star cast (Zoe Saldana, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Sylvester Stallone to name a few), doing what he does best – hilariously guarding the galaxy, and this time it’s from a mad scientist with a serious God complex. Even if Marvel isn’t normally your jam,&nbsp;<strong><em>Guardians of the Galaxy</em></strong>&nbsp;is worth pushing those biases aside.</p>

<p>They’re back! Diane Keaton, Jane Fonda, Mary Steenburgen, Candice Bergen and their book club reunite for&nbsp;<strong><em>The Next Chapter</em></strong>. Set a few years after the first movie, the ladies have survived lockdown and are off to Italy to give Vivian (Fonda) a proper send off before she marries a rather dashing Don Johnson. Expect plenty of laughs and feel good fun and though it gives geriatric&nbsp;<em>Sex and the City 2&nbsp;</em>vibes, here’s hoping we’re still besties with our besties in our 80s like this Fab Four.&nbsp;</p>

<p>It’s Celine Dion’s world and we’re just living in it as new rom com,&nbsp;<strong><em>Love Again</em>&nbsp;</strong>proves. Not only does the ballad Queen provide the air grabbing soundtrack, she plays a starring role alongside Sam Heuhan, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Nick Jonas, Russel Tovey&nbsp;<em>and</em>&nbsp;Lydia West – do we need to go on? For those who need convincing (um, seriously?), Heuhan and Chopra play two broken hearted singles who end up falling in love thanks to a reassigned mobile phone number. Cheesy premise, perhaps, but have we mentioned Celine Dion’s in it?!</p>

<p>Finally the classic Judy Blume novel that’s helped generations of girls navigate the awkwardness of growing up lands on the big screen and we must-we must-we must watch&nbsp;<strong><em>Are you There God? It’s Me, Margaret</em></strong>. Abby Ryder Fortson plays a blinder as Margaret, straddling religions, puberty and cup sizes, along with Rachel McAdams and Kathy Burke in a multigenerational story about life, friendship, family and being a woman. Heartwarming and hilarious – all hail Judy Blume!</p>

<p>What if all the things you worry about in life came true – we know, cringingly terrifying to think about, right? – well that is pretty much the premise of&nbsp;<strong><em>Beau is Afraid.</em></strong>&nbsp;The movie centres around anxiety-riddled Beau, (Joaquin Phoenix), who goes on a panic-stricken journey to see his mother which’ll leave you questioning reality. From the spooky mind of Ari Aster, who does a stand-up job of recreating every anxiety attack we’ve ever had, it may take a few watches (if your nerves can handle it) but Phoenix, as usual, is pure magic.</p>

<p>We’ve been waiting to go under the sea with&nbsp;<strong><em>The Little Mermaid</em></strong>&nbsp;ever since we first saw the trailer (which seems like eons ago, right?). Finally we get to see Halle Bailey in action as Arial with Javier Bardem, Jonah Hauer-King and Melissa McCarthy alongside a score by Lin Manuel Miranda. Ignoring the controversy about casting (and the CGI Flounder which has recently made headlines) it’s great to see fresh life breathed into another Disney classic.</p>
