<p>Spring is officially in the air as <a href="https://www.wooltonfarm.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Woolton Farm</a>, home of Kentish Pip cider and Woolton Wines, has officially reopened for the 2026 season. Bringing with it brand-new menus, extended opening hours, venue upgrades and a packed calendar of events. From camping and glamping under the stars in beautifully furnished bell tents to vineyard tours, the <a href="https://www.wooltonfarm.co.uk/collections/events-and-tours/products/spring-beer-cider-festival-2026?variant=55993155715449" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Spring Beer &amp; Cider Festival</a> in May, the <a href="https://www.wooltonfarm.co.uk/collections/events-and-tours/products/woolton-farms-classic-car-bike-show-2026" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Woolton Classic Car &amp; Bike Show</a> in August and the much-loved <a href="https://www.wooltonfarm.co.uk/collections/events-and-tours/products/sound-of-kent-festival-2026?variant=55998685839737" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Sound of Kent Festival</a>. With family- and dog-friendly camping from £100 per night and events running right through to autumn, it’s shaping up to be another brilliant year at this Kent countryside favourite.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/DV8Y1isDQ66/?hl=en&amp;img_index=1" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Le Pinardier</a> in Deal is back and better than ever, reopening its doors today (Weds 18 March) with a fresh, French-inspired take on the classic wine bar. Still very much its own concept (no, The Frog and Scot isn’t relocating), the new-look pairs wines and beers on tap with a slick cocktail list and an elevated bar menu. Think oysters, dressed crab, terrines, cheese and charcuterie, plus comforting plates like homemade pies and baked Camembert landing just in time for Easter. Designed as a laid-back, drop-in spot with no bookings required, it’s all about easy, everyday indulgence.</p>

<p>A sweet new addition has arrived in Tunbridge Wells with the opening of <a href="https://www.instagram.com/dulcespatisserie/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Dulce’s Patisserie</a>, a charming independent patisserie led by Le Cordon Bleu–trained chef Dulce. Already a firm favourite in Sevenoaks, you can expect their usual beautiful handcrafted cakes, delicate macarons and savoury quiches. Expect a warm, relaxed space designed for lingering over coffee with friends while something sweet (or savoury) steals the show. Open Mon &#8211; Sat from 8:30am –6pm and Sun from 10am &#8211; 5pm.</p>

<p>The charming <a href="https://www.thechaser.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Chaser Inn in Shipbourne</a> has introduced a new weekday indulgence: traditional <a href="https://www.thechaser.co.uk/afternoon-tea" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Afternoon Tea</a>, now served <strong>Mon to Fri from 3pm</strong>. Expect a classic spread of artisan finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones with Cornish clotted cream and jam, and a beautifully crafted selection of sweet treats created by the pub’s resident pastry chef. Paired with fine teas sourced from around the world, it’s an elegant way to spend an afternoon in this cosy countryside pub.</p>

The menu blends comforting classics with Curious’ signature modern twist, from roast sirloin of British beef and roasted half chicken with all the traditional trimmings to dishes like butternut squash risotto and roasted loin of hake. Alongside the roasts, diners can expect snacks, seasonal starters and indulgent desserts. Think chocolate tart with salted caramel, Yorkshire rhubarb Eton mess and a Kentish cheeseboard. Make sure you head here for your next relaxed Sunday lunch spot paired, naturally, with Curious’ craft beers.</p>

The acclaimed spot has just launched a new three-course menu, <strong>available Tues to Thurs for £65</strong>, and it’s every bit as refined as you’d expect. Showcasing seasonal, high-end ingredients, dishes span from halibut tartare with white asparagus and truffle, to raviolo of veal sweetbreads and girolles, followed by mains like lemon sole with Wye Valley asparagus or Middle White suckling pig with punchy, spiced accompaniments. To finish, it’s a toss-up between Isle of Mull cheddar with maple and apple, or a decadent Manjari chocolate crémeux. Available at both lunch and dinner (just be sure to select the “three course menu” when booking), it’s a more accessible way to experience one of Kent’s most celebrated kitchens.</p>

<p>With the evenings getting longer it can only mean one thing&#8230; Macknade&#8217;s <a href="https://macknade.com/pages/food-village-2026" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Food Village</a> is coming back. Kicking off with a <a href="https://macknade.com/products/food-village-launch-party-with-whiskey-wine" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">launch party</a> on <strong>Fri 3 April</strong>, the outdoor street food hub returns with live music from Whiskey &amp; Wine, great food and a buzzing atmosphere. This year’s line-up includes The Hop Shed Bar &amp; Kitchen, Notorious BRG, Mac &amp; Stacks, Little Katsu Kitchen, Sig Pizza and Bears Ice Cream. Once open, the Food Village will run Thursday to Sunday each week, making it the perfect spot for casual dining, drinks and gathering with friends.</p>

<p>Something special is bubbling away at <a href="https://yotescourt.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Yotes Court</a> this spring as the vineyard prepares to unveil its first-ever cuvée, <a href="https://yotescourt.co.uk/product/annie-power-cuvee-2021/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">‘Annie Power’ 2021</a>, a release marking an exciting new chapter for the Kent estate. The long-awaited sparkling wine will debut during an exclusive launch week from <strong>Weds 1 &#8211; Sun 5 April</strong>. Making it the perfect time to visit, as from <strong>Weds 1 April</strong>, the Yotes Court Wine Barn and Paddock Lawn will reopen, bringing back wine by the glass, guided tastings and vineyard tours and more. A very good excuse to head into the Kent countryside and raise a glass.</p>
