<p>All the fun of the fair, a blockbuster music line-up, proper retro rides and salty sea air… <a href="https://www.dreamland.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Dreamland</a> will reopen for the 2026 season from <strong>Fri 3 April</strong>, situated on the beautiful Kent coastline in Margate. So if you’re plotting your spring / summer plans, here’s why it deserves a prime spot on your 2026 hit list.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-1-thrills-splashes-and-a-brand-new-ride-for-little-ones">1. THRILLS, SPLASHES AND A BRAND-NEW RIDE FOR LITTLE ONES</h2>

<p>If your idea of a great day out involves at least one scream, Wild River delivers with its 50ft plunge and dramatic drop. Add in the Big Wheel with its sweeping coastal views, the Waltzers, Dodgems, Ghost Train and Rock ‘N’ Roller coaster, and you’ve got the perfect blend of nostalgia and adrenaline. New for 2026, opening very soon, your little ones can &#8216;paddle&#8217; their own canoe and enjoy a ride on Little River. Adding a wholesome, hands-on attraction that makes the park even more family-friendly. </p>



<p>That&#8217;s not all! You can also enjoy the retro Roller Disco, the ever-popular arcade and amusements, plus a range of food and drink from renowned street food aficionados KERB in collaboration with Levy UK &amp; Ireland, meaning this is no ordinary theme park pit stop.</p>

<p>Dreamland isn’t just an amusement park; it’s firmly cemented itself as one of the UK’s most exciting outdoor music venues. <p>Alongside the music line-up, a variety of comedy shows will take place in Dreamland’s Hall By The Sea. The Comedy Store will bring a mix of comedians on <a href="https://www.dreamland.co.uk/event/the-comedy-store-2/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Sat 2 May</a> and <a href="https://www.dreamland.co.uk/event/the-comedy-store-3/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Sat 17 Oct</a>. Alongside shows from <a href="https://www.dreamland.co.uk/event/josh-baulf/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Josh Baulf</a> and <a href="https://www.dreamland.co.uk/event/thomas-green/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Thomas Green</a>, ensuring plenty of laughs to balance out the thrills.</p>

<p>In a first for 2026, one of London&#8217;s most iconic music festivals, Lovebox is being reimagined and finding a new home in Dreamland. Don&#8217;t miss <a href="https://www.dreamland.co.uk/event/lovebox/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Lovebox Presented by Dreamland</a> on <strong>Fri 29 &#8211; Sat 30 May</strong>, bringing the spirit of the much-loved festival to the Kent coast. This seaside edition boasts a line-up featuring Rudimental, Groove Armada, Scissor Sisters and Soul II Soul and many more across the weekend. <p>Dreamland is large enough to keep everyone entertained, but small enough to feel safe and manageable, especially for families. Parents can relax a little, knowing the park is contained and walkable, while children get to enjoy a bit more independence. It has a laid-back, retro vibe that feels far less hectic than bigger theme parks, making it perfect for a more personal, less overwhelming experience.</p>

<p>Entry to the park is free, so you only pay for what you ride. Mega Ride Wristbands are £24.99 for unlimited access to all the rides, while Tiny Tots Wristbands are £12.99 for selected smaller attractions. Prefer flexibility? Ride tokens are £3 each or £40 for a bundle of 20, with each ride costing one token. Prices have been frozen from 2025, meaning endless access to the park&#8217;s rides at an affordable cost. </p>
