What to expect? The Kent Cricket Community Coaches will be running free cricket activities, there will be a free bouncy castle and free autograph sheets handed out, so that you can meet the players at the end of the match.

Watch an engaging match that will inspire the future cricketers in your family. They promise 50 overs a side with a result at the end of the day – which basically means an entertaining day out for all the family.

Sun 11 Aug will be Kent Cricket’s Big Community Day, where there will be fun-filled activities for all the family – plus a few familiar faces!

This is a brilliant opportunity to enjoy a memorable day with cricket, entertainment and fun-filled activities that all the family will love. What to expect?

Meet and greet with the Kent Cricket Community Trust Captains: local actor and infamous Canterbury pantomime Dame, Ben Roddy, and CBeebies’ Mister Maker, Phil Gallagher.
Take part in a range of free cricket activities led by the Kent Cricket Community Coaches.
Enjoy a number of different shows from Applause, a community theatre group, who have crafted performances to entertain all ages.
Engage with local community stands, including the NHS community well-being team, Kent Fire and Rescue service and Kent Police, who have loads of great advice and information.
Enjoy free face painting.
And even …. Meet and greet the players at the post-match autograph session.

Hold on to your cricket cap! Because, then on Wed 14 Aug, the final group stage match will see the Kent Spitfires take on the Northamptonshire Steelbacks as teams compete for a place in the quarter-finals.

With Kent Cricket Community Coaches delivering free cricket sessions and an autograph session, this day should prove to be an exciting one both on and off the field.
