Five reasons to join Godstone Farm’s Big Sleepover this summer

Diaries out! The Big Farm Sleepover is back on at Godstone Farm this summer – and here are five reasons why it’s not to be missed!

1. Quality time with your loved ones

After the success of last year’s Big Camping Weekend, the team at Godstone Farm have decided to make this year’s camping experience bigger and better than before. It’s a two-night camping getaway, with access to the farm over three days – the perfect way to get kids off those devices and enjoying . Expect access all areas to the farm after the gates close to visitors along with campfire singalongs before lights-out. Three Farm Sleepovers are planned for this summer: Fri 19-Sun 21 Aug, Tues 23-Thurs 25 Aug, and Fri 26-Sun 28 Aug.

2. There’s a bit of camping luxury

Forget those camping trips when you’re slaving over a tiny camp stove trying to prepare dinner for the family. At The Big Farm Sleepover, the evening meals and breakfast are included. It doesn’t get much better than an alfresco breakfast of fresh farm eggs and hot coffee. The good news is, you won’t have to milk the cows if you want milk in your coffee! This is camping, but without the chores.

3. Access all areas

When the farm gates close to visitors each day, you’ll enjoy behind-the-scenes animal encounters, after-dark tractor rides and campfire singalongs. This is great opportunity to connect with the great outdoors and spend time with your loved ones. There are more than 500 animals at the farm including highland cows, reptiles, llamas, giant rabbits, horses, goats, pigs, chickens and more. You’ll be able to explore the farm and see what goes on with the animals when the visitors go home and before they arrive each day.

4. It’s BYO camp gear….

So you can glamp it up with duvets, pretty cushions and bunting if you fancy it. Or just keep things simple with a tent and basic camp bedding. It’s the ideal camping trip for novice campers who want to experience the wholesomeness of camping in a safe and secure environment. But for seasoned campers, it’s something that’s out of the ordinary. Winning all round!

5. Easy on the purse strings

You get a lot of bang for your buck – cost is £89 per person for two nights’ camping including three days exploring every inch of the farm, dinner both nights and breakfast each morning, plus evening entertainment and other activities. Children under 2 are free.
