<p>One of the UK&#8217;s most esteemed chefs, Angela Hartnett has recently revealed her <a href="https://www.instagram.com/angelacooking/?hl=en&amp;img_index=1" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">5 favourite restaurants in the UK</a> and (of course) a Kent one has made the cut. Congratulations to <a href="https://folkestonewine.com" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The Folkestone Wine Company</a>. Angela describes it as &#8220;an old-fashioned bistro&#8221; with &#8220;one of the best crème brûlées I’ve ever had in my life&#8221;. Kent folk, have you been?</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><a href="https://www.therestaurant-ms.co.uk" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The Restaurant MS</a>, Folkestone</h3>



<p>Remember The Brassiere MS? This new restaurant closed just after 6 months in February but it&#8217;s now opening its doors again in Folkestone with a *slightly* new name. Owned by Gordon Ramsay’s right hand man, Chef Patron, Mark Sargeant. Expect classic French cuisine, refined and cooked using the best local and seasonal produce. As well as the main restaurant, there’s a stunning cocktail lounge where you can enjoy drinks and nibbles or treat yourself to the ultimate gastronomist experience at the Chef’s Table.</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><a href="https://www.stkilda.cafe" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">St Kilda</a>, Tunbridge Wells</h3>



<p>Talking about new names! St Kida is the new name of brunch and coffee hot spot, The Black Dog on Camden Rd in Tunbridge Wells. Exactly same business just with a new name to show their Aussie roots. Named after St Kilda, a Melbourne suburb best known for its vibrant food and drink scene &#8211; bringing a little bit of Australia to Tunbridge Wells. Oooh we love it. </p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><a href="https://www.lidobonvino.co.uk" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Lido Bon Vino</a>, Sandgate</h3>



<p>A new Italian restaurant with undisturbed sea views? New at the Sandgate Hotel is Lido Bon Vino, where the menu is entirely (you&#8217;ve guessed it!) Italian and we hear their pizza is classic Neapolitan-style from Ruota di Carretto where the dough goes through 36 hours of fermentation, making for its unforgettable flavour, texture and it&#8217;s easier to digest! Pizza bloat no more!</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><a href="https://stleonardskent.co.uk" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">St Leonard&#8217;s</a>, West Malling</h3>



<p>After being forced to close after a devastating fire back in April, St Leonards plan to reopen at the end of October which will see some new changes including a tasting menu and a relaxed extended Saturday brunch. We can&#8217;t wait for the come back! </p>

<p>JUST opened as of Tues 3 Oct, this new deli is situated on East Street in Faversham (hence the name). It’s said to be perfectly positioned and a welcome addition to the town. Expect delicious deli delights with stock changing every week so it&#8217;ll always be fresh and exciting. </p>

<p>Opening, not opening and now? Well, Michelin-star chef Atul Kochhar says the long-awaited restaurant will open on The Pantiles this December. We managed to have a taste at the Autumn Harvest Food Festival on The Pantiles a few weeks ago and it was just what we expected &#8211; sensational Indian cuisine. </p>

<p>Looking for a unique countryside dining experience to celebrate the end of the Harvest Season? The annual Green Farm Harvest Farm Feast is back, in partnership with their resident chef Ian Waghorn. 5 carefully curated courses  from some of the best homegrown Green Farm produce and a glass of local English Sparkling Wine for £80pp. Enjoy pre-dinner drinks with canapés in the Wildlife Vegetable Garden, moving to the Haybarn studio for the formal part of the evening with views of the beautiful Green Farm grounds. It is wild, hyper local (under 2 miles), high welfare, and provides many health benefits.&nbsp;Even if you’ve never tried game before, go along and try some of their seasonal dishes. Wild game tastes very different to farmed game with the active lifestyle of the birds and a varied diet giving a far superior flavour to the meat. Served aside their Kitchen Garden produce, you’ll find partridge, pheasant, wild duck and pigeon on this seasonal menu which changes by the week.</p>
