<p>Christmas is soon to be arriving at <a href="https://trinitytheatre.net/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Trinity Theatre</a>, Tunbridge Wells and the line-up is as glittering as the magnificent Christmas tree that will soon be twinkling through the foyer. From Dickensian ghosts to gospel choirs, from baby-friendly Broadway tunes to the sparkle of <em>Nativity! The Musical</em>, every taste and every generation is covered this festive season.</p>



<p>As ever, Trinity’s cosy café and bar makes the perfect place to pause for a mulled wine, homemade cake or a warm cup of coffee. And while you’re feeling merry, remember &#8211; Trinity is a registered charity, and every ticket sold helps fund their work using the arts to engage, inspire and enrich the local community.</p>

Step into a wintery Victorian world with Trinity Theatre’s Resident Dramatics Club, the Trinity Theatre Company, as they present a chillingly atmospheric take on Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, adapted by Mark Gatiss and directed by Chris Howland. Expect shivers, laughter and redemption in equal measure in this spine-tingling, heart-warming classic. </p>

You&#8217;ve no doubt seen the hit holiday film &#8211; a laugh-out-loud comedy that follows the fortunes of fictional&nbsp;St. Bernadette&#8217;s Primary School. With loveable underdog Mr Maddens and the chaotic Mr Poppy as they attempt to stage the ultimate school nativity, complete with glitter, giggles, and a rumour that Hollywood is watching. Featuring a community cast of young talent and local stars, show-stopping choreography, dazzling costumes, a live band, and beloved songs like&nbsp;<em>Sparkle and Shine</em>, this promises to be a joyous production.</p>

<p>Celebrate the turning of the year with Richard Durrant’s 20th anniversary tour, joined by his children Daisy and Django, singer Amy Kakoura, and harpsichord virtuoso Howard Beach. Blending early music, British folk, classical and pagan traditions, this unique concert is a mesmerising mix of old and new. Expect sublime harmonies, masterful musicianship and a touch of winter magic. The performance coincides with the release of Durrant’s new album <em>Ice Garden</em>.</p>

<p>Have yourself a merry little sing-along at this interactive concert for families with young children. Two West End performers bring festive showtunes to life with songs from <em>Elf</em>, <em>Frozen</em>, <em>White Christmas</em>, and more. Expect bubbles, bells, and plenty of audience participation &#8211; fancy dress is very much encouraged. At 45 minutes long, this relaxed performance is ideal for little ones, from newborns to grandparents, and guaranteed to leave everyone humming all the way home.</p>

<p>Let’s All Dance presents a glittering, family-friendly take on <em>The Nutcracker</em>, bringing Tchaikovsky’s timeless ballet to life for a new generation. Follow Clara and her Nutcracker Prince on their magical journey through the Land of Sweets, meeting the Sugar Plum Fairy and the mischievous King Rat along the way. With beautiful costumes, crystal-clear storytelling and an enchanting score, it’s the perfect introduction to ballet for children, and a nostalgic treat for adults, too. After each show, little ones can meet the dancers for a truly special Christmas memory.</p>
