<p>Love award-winning Margate restaurant and wine bar <a href="https://www.pomus.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Pomus</a>? Get excited cos they&#8217;re launching a laid-back little sister spot, <a href="https://www.instagram.com/pommargate/">Pom on the Pier</a>, opening <strong>Fri 18 April</strong> on the Harbour Arm in Folkestone. Landing just in time for the long Easter weekend, POM will serve wine, cocktails, and craveable bar snacks from midday to sunset, Fri to Sun &#8211; with extended hours planned for summer. Expect Pomus’ signature green, a curated wine list, classic cocktails like the ‘POM rum punch’, and dishes including corn ribs with fermented chilli, fritto misto, and the much-loved chicken karaage. With 30 seats on the terrace and cosy blankets for cooler evenings, POM is primed for sunset sipping, seaside snacking, and effortless weekend hangs. Walk-ins only.</p>

<p>Vietnamese street food favourite <a href="https://www.phocafe.co.uk/our-story/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Pho</a> is set to open in Tunbridge Wells, bringing its fresh, flavour-packed dishes to Mount Pleasant Road in the former Bocca Social site. Known for its namesake noodle soup – <em>pho</em>, a steaming bowl of rice noodles with herbs and optional extras – the restaurant will serve up a vibrant menu of healthy, gluten-free and vegan-friendly options including spring rolls, salads, curries, wok-fried noodles and more. With its roots in a love story sparked in Vietnam, Pho is already a hit in cities across the UK &#8211; including Canterbury &#8211; and its arrival promises to add something bold and delicious to the local dining scene. An official opening date is yet to be confirmed.</p>

<p>&#8216;Tis the season for vineyard tours and tastings. <a href="https://www.brenleywine.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Brenley Wine</a> is gearing up for another busy summer season with tours set to take place on select Saturdays including <strong>12 April, 24 May, 14 June, 19 July, and 27 Sep</strong>. Expect a guided walk through the vineyard followed by a tasting of Brenley’s small-batch wines, all set against the backdrop of the Kent countryside. <p>The <a href="https://www.wooltonfarm.co.uk/products/spring-beer-cider-festival-2025?srsltid=AfmBOorKcZd-Qcs1FbhVefD36rPrvy34yazK_SGqjCjfPw9aBKvnm81d&amp;variant=53499485094265" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Spring Beer &amp; Cider Festival</a> returns for a four-day celebration over the late May Bank Holiday weekend, from <strong>Fri 23 &#8211; Mon 26 May</strong>. Expect live music, freshly made pizza, all-day BBQ, and sweet treats from Beardy Baker, plus garden games, a bouncy castle and face painting for the kids. Adults can enjoy a wide selection of real ales and craft ciders, with live music running throughout the weekend. Tickets are £5 for over 18s when booked in advance (£10 on the door), and include a free etched glass. Under 18s go free but will still need a ticket.</p>

Forage the grounds, enjoy a freshly prepared outdoor lunch, and end the day with a three-course dinner by Head Chef Andy, hosted by Miles himself. Tickets are £224pp or if you want to go the whole make and make a day of it, spend the night in one of their characterful Hop Pickers&#8217; Huts from £815 for two, or from £570 for one.</p>
