BEAUTY TREATMENTS: Facial Acupuncture at Apotheca, Faversham

New treatment alert! Acupuncture by Anna is now taking appointments at natural health centre, Apotheca in Faversham. Apotheca (hello uber-Instagrammable apothecary) not only offers natural remedies and beauty products but it’s a destination for yoga/pilates classes and therapeutic treatments. You’ll want to unclench your jaw and roll your shoulders back just at the thought of it.

Used regularly, facial acupuncture can help reduce the appearance of fine lines and winkles by stimulating collagen production. It can also help to boost skin circulation and improve muscle tone. But it’s not just acupuncture, oh no! Anna also uses LED Light Therapy to increase circulation, decrease inflammation, kill acne bacteria and improve the skin’s texture, tone and clarity. Together they offer a safe and natural alternative to botox. Sign us up!

RELAUNCH: The Ambrette is now The Cook’s Tale, Canterbury

After ten eventual (and very successful!) years of serving in Canterbury, The Ambrette team decided it was time for a new direction so inspired by Geoffrey Chaucer’s famous work ”The Canterbury Tales”, The Ambrette is now called “The Cook’s Tale” and we love it! Their new concept will see them heavily invested into local farms and food producers in and around Canterbury with all major ingredients sourced from within half an hour driving distance from the restaurant – impressive! It’ll have a strong focus towards sustainability with ingredients that are organic and don’t harm the environment. Plus it’ll still have their classic modern Asian twist!
