<p>You might know that Margate&#8217;s full of arty residents but particularly the town&#8217;s most famous resident, <a href="https://www.traceyeminfoundation.com" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Tracey Emin</a> is looking to set a massive mark on Margate&#8217;s seafront. Emin has purchased the derelict Westbrook Loggia building at Westbrook Bay and plans to give the space a huge glow-up. <p>Regular Muddy readers will probably have heard mention of&nbsp;<a href="https://dorothyandmarshall.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Dorothy &amp; Marshall</a>&nbsp;a recently launched restaurant after a huge refurb in the former Old Town Hall in Bromley. Now this&nbsp;much-loved&nbsp;local landmark is home to another new venture &#8211; <a href="https://bramahotels.com" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Brama</a> &#8211; a luxury hotel that occupies the upstairs of this stunning Grade II listed building. <p>It&#8217;s our favourite time of the year when the air turns crisp, a rich display of autumn colour envelops the countryside and <a href="https://www.hevercastle.co.uk/whats-on/autumn-colour-2023/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Hever Castle</a> looks its best when the Boston Ivy turns a vivid shade of red. So pack your walking boots or wellies and head to Hever Castle for a good stomp around as now&#8217;s the perfect time to do it. </p>



<p>Plus, every Wednesday in October (up to 18 Oct when the half term events start) the gardening team will run a workshop with a different focus each week where you can learn about container gardens, the trees around the Estate and dahlias, all included in your admission price. On Fri 6 Oct, see a display showcasing the wide range of fungi or go on Fri 13 Oct where botanical artist and gardener Felix Green will be showcasing the newly created &#8216;dye garden&#8217;. </p>
